Hang Cá Sấu (Crocodile Cave) is located at DT11 road, about 3 km north of Binh An. It is located in a small remains of a karst tower which was mostly quarried for cement production. Surrounded by quarries and a cement plant, the cave is almost forgotten. We classified it as a show cave, because there is a bridge across an artificial lake to the cave entrance. But actually it is an easy to explore semi-wild cave. There is no electric light, no gates and no guided tours. Nevertheless, we think it qualifies as a tourist cave, because it is made accessible. And obviously the quarrying was stopped to save this cave.
This cave is located right above the plain, probably 2 m higher, and it is horizontal. It seems obvious that it formed when the sea level was higher. It is mostly a rounded ledge in the rock, which looks quite spectacular. There is also an oval passage which goes straight through the karst tower. While this passage is dry, horizontal, and easy to explore, it is unfortunately only 1 m high and thus requires crawling. Quite popular when visiting the cave with children.
The karst tower is also quite impressive. Massive karren have created the typical stone forest look of the limestone.
