Description

Gruta Luminosa (Lumnious Cave) is a wild cave in the Parque Estadual Intervales. A river flows out of the entrance portal, and there are ropes for security. After a a short passage you will reach a chamber with an opening, which allows daylight into the cave. Obviously this opening is the reason for the name. The high and narrow passage resembles a gorge.
